I have to tell you about Ashley Wimberly at Castle Rock Creative. I was trying to make a flyer for my new business (babysitting, dog walking, helping out busy moms, that kind of thing) and I could not figure it out. Everything I made looked terrible. Too much stuff on it, messy, just bad, childish? I really felt like a failure. I felt dumb. I kept thinking that I was never even going to have a shot of getting my business off the ground, something I REALLY knew I wanted and would be great at, all because I’m too stupid (bad self-talk I know) to market it. I posted on Facebook asking for advice and Ashley messaged me right away. I think she just got it, you know? Like she understood what it's like to not know where to start or feel confident about something. She got me a flyer done so fast. When I opened it I cried and I’m the type of person that doesn’t really ever cry unless a dog dies. I had been trying so hard to make something, and I couldn't get it right. Seeing what she made for me, something actually professional that I could be proud of, turned things around in my mind and that one thing made me actually believe in myself again. Ashley confessed to me that she had just recently started her business. I had to write and share about my experience with her. She's so talented and obviously cares. We're always talking about supporting women owned businesses and she really deserves it. She's genuinely good at this. If you need marketing or design help you should reach out to her.
