I am writing to share my very negative experience with Hawthorn Creative. They attempted to defraud me of $32,000 – and consumed more than a year of my time and energy in the process. Fortunately, I was able to dispute the charges with AMEX, and after a week of providing documentation, they sided with me and I received a full refund. Based on my experience, I have serious concerns regarding the ethical and professional conduct of this company. I would strongly advise exercising extreme caution if you are considering engaging their services.

Hawthorn Creative will not stop spamming us asking us to advertise in their wedding advertising brochure, despite numerous requests to be taken off their mailing list. I don’t know how companies think that this type of marketing is effective. It’s downright obnoxious, unprofessional, and harassment. EDIT on September 5th to address Hawthorn Creative's reply: We are NOT affiliates with Glen Echo Park, nor do we receive leads from them, nor did we ever ask to be spammed by anyone related to them including Hawthorn Creative. Glen Echo Park provided our contact information to Hawthorn Creative, without our consent, at which point Hawthorn Creative began to spam us. We aren't in their CRM anymore because they finally removed us after Glen Echo Park asked them to remove us (Hawthorn Creative ignored our initial requests to remove us from their list).
