I originally left a 5-star review for Ethan and the team, but after a full audit of the work done on my accounts over the past year, I unfortunately need to update this to 1 star. Direct Placement managed our Google Ads and SEO, and after reviewing the campaigns and website changes in detail, I discovered numerous serious issues that went unnoticed for nearly a year. Examples include: Ads running with an incorrect phone number that directed potential clients to a travel agency. Incorrect meta tags and SEO content that referenced entirely different services than the ones actually offered on the webpage. Stock photos being used in ads and website updates, despite providing a full library of our branded imagery and giving multiple directions to remove and never use stock photos (I was assured this was updated throughout). Website updates that were poorly formatted and inconsistent. Paid ads promoting services in ways that were contraindicated for the treatment being advertised, which put my professional reputation at risk. Significant ad spend on campaigns that were improperly configured. After identifying these issues, I removed Direct Placement from our accounts and provided screenshots documenting every concern. Unfortunately, despite multiple attempts to resolve the matter directly, the owners (Adam and Meg) have not responded to my emails, and no effort has been made to address or refund the problems. I take my brand and patient safety very seriously, so discovering these issues after nearly a year was extremely disappointing. I had hoped to resolve this privately, but due to the lack of response, I feel it’s important to update my review so other businesses can make an informed decision.
