One of the main reasons I agreed to try their service was the money-back guarantee discussed with me before signing up. Their website also publicly advertises a Money Back Guarantee, “Results in 60 days,” and “No long-term contracts.” Unfortunately, I did not see the level of measurable improvement I expected. Amic Social sent reports showing profile interactions and views, but from my perspective as the business owner, I did not see enough additional quality phone calls, leads, or new business to justify what I was paying. I eventually requested cancellation and asked for a full refund of the charges because I did not believe the service delivered the value that had been represented to me. This is where my experience became especially disappointing. I felt that when it came time to stand behind the money-back guarantee that helped convince me to sign up, the process became much more difficult than I expected. As a small-business owner myself, I believe a guarantee should mean something. If a company uses a money-back guarantee to earn a customer’s trust, it should clearly explain the terms and stand behind that commitment when a customer is dissatisfied. My recommendation to other small-business owners is simple: get everything in writing before signing up. Ask exactly what results are guaranteed, when the refund period begins, what qualifies for a refund, and what happens if the service does not improve your calls or leads. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Amic Social at this time. For me, marketing results are not just reports, views, or percentages. Real results are qualified phone calls, customers, booked jobs, and revenue.
