The Macallan group was instrumental in the success of Deep Risk Management (DRM). As a startup, we needed more than just a marketing firm, we needed a strategic partner. Zero return on investment. Do not waste your time or money. We spent over $10,000 (they wanted 20 until we pulled the plug on this circus and this isn’t counting what we spent on hiring people to manage the “pending increase in clients”) only to be told to just use Zocdoc which we already were since 2020. Communication within their team was awful—they clearly didn’t know their behind from their elbow. The visual design quality of the ads was beyond subpar (shockingly and truly laughably bad), and they constantly contradicted themselves. Should have seen through the smoke and mirrors. If you want a sample of the patently insane things that occurred, I have receipts—email interactions I can provide to anyone who asks via an iCloud emaill I created specifically for this. Reach out and I will provide all of this (Google does not allow posting a throwaway e-mail on a review) Best of all, thanks to something they did, we were blocked from using Meta/Instagram ads on our own account and are banned from running ads. Avoid them—unless you’re looking for someone to recommend to someone you greatly dislike and wanrt to see fail. We got better results , content and engagement from a sleep-deprived full-time college student for 1/100th the price. Also worth noting that the account manager we were working with quit the company mid-campaign. No responses from her boss for a week plus at a time. We hired people to prepare for the influx that they promised us and then were told we didn’t do enough on our end. That's how swimmingly things are going over there.
