For approximately $7000.00 per month, IMS was hired to manage our paid SEO, organic SEO, pay per click, Google Local Service Ads, Google Business Profile, social media presence, and to send out twice monthly emails to our existing client base. I am an HVAC contractor in Oregon, and IMS used a market expansion phone number on 13 of my Facebook posts that forwarded all of my calls to another one of their HVAC contractor clients in Arkansas. I had to discover this on my own before IMarket corrected it. IMS optimized keywords for services that I made clear to them that I didn’t offer, such as duct cleaning. After IMS supposedly fixed the issue (and refunded me for the mistake), I discovered an additional $2,000.00 charge several months later for the same keywords. I was also notified by Google that it was penalizing me for advertising a service that I didn't offer by lowering my quality score, which raised the cost of my ads. IMS also managed my Google Local Service ads account with an additional ad spend budget authorization of $1600 per week. I only received 16 leads for the more than 7 months that IMS was managing that LSA product. During this time, Imarket charged me over 400% more for their LSA management fees than I was spending on the actual LSA ad spend. IMS built me a new website, and I was told that I owned the website content and that I could move the website away from the IMS server once my contract was fulfilled. Unfortunately, the website is built using Modx code and I am having to spend $6000 to have an outside web developer rewrite it in WordPress so that it can be easily revised and updated in the future. The new developer told me that the IMS website (In its current state) requires a LAMP Stack developer to work on it and that makes it more difficult and expensive to work on, which makes it less likely that I would move the site away from IMS. The new web developer also uncovered some verbiage on one of the pages, claiming that I offered plumbing services, even though I’m not a plumbing contractor and I never told IMS that I offered plumbing services. After the debacle with my Facebook forwarding number, I requested the monthly fees for FB management ($850) and the biweekly emails to my existing customers (for another $1300 per month) be waived for 3 months, in exchange for me increasing my Google ad spend to $8000 per month. The sales manager said that she spoke to her “executive team” and that they refused to approve it. She told me that I could leave IMS if I paid out the remaining months of my contract. Subsequently, I was able to contact the owners myself and after I told them what happened, they approved my request. I appreciated that and in exchange, I agreed to double my ad spend with the hopes of turning the relationship around. Shortly thereafter, I discovered the additional $2000 ad spend for duct cleaning services that I didn’t offer and at that point I was just fed up and done with IMS. If I could give one piece of advice to anyone who is considering IMS or any other marketing firm, it would be not to sign a one-year contract going into the relationship. Notwithstanding the fact that IMS was very impressive and convincing up front, you don’t know how things are going to work out until you’re locked in, and then it’s too late. Also, the IMS contract automatically renews for another year, every year, unless you cancel it. In my opinion, that only serves IMS, not the client. I was eventually let out of my contract a few months early but overall, the experience was not good, and I will never sign another long-term contract with another marketing company again. I have subsequently switched to another marketing agency that does not believe in or require a long-term contract.

We've been working with iMarket for over four years, and partnering with them has been one of the best business decisions we've ever made. From the beginning, they took the time to understand our goals, our industry, and the families we serve. Their strategic guidance has helped us grow steadily year after year, not just by increasing leads, but by attracting the right customers and building a stronger brand in our community. Because of that growth, we've been able to hire more employees, expand our services, and meet the needs of even more families. That's the kind of impact that goes far beyond marketing. If I had to sum it up in a sentence i'd say they care about our success as much as we do, and it shows in everything they do. If you're looking for a Business Partner, NOT just a marketing company that delivers real, long-term results and truly invests in your business, I couldn't recommend them more highly.
Great company to work with. Would highly recommend.
I have had the pleasure to work with iMarket Solutions on 3 different company projects now and I really believe in their approach and process. I have always liked the way they have set expectations and delivered faster than predicted. If you are a service company and you are willing to invest 18 months, you will end up on top. Erin and the team has been first class.
This review comes as we are in the final stages of Onboarding our THIRD company with I-Market, not including branding for a parent company. To say the Barrs, Inc. family loves I-Market is an understatement! We have worked with several marketing companies in the past, none of which are close to comparable to the creativity, communication, and result-driven approach made by I-Market. I-Market's approach to marketing for our companies has been a gamechanger, and I highly recommend their services to any business owners who are serious about "building their brand." The most sincere thank you from: Barrs Plumbing, Inc. A&B Well Drilling and Pump Services, Inc. Bryant's Pump & Well Drilling Services, Inc. Barrs, Inc.
