What Belongs in This Category

This category is intended for portable and stationary play enclosures. Examples from the US market include:

What Does Not Belong Here

Products that do not fit in this category should be directed to more appropriate sections within the taxonomy. If you are selling items like baby bouncers, rockers, jumpers, or swings, use the Baby Bouncers & Rockers or Baby Jumpers & Swings categories instead. Items classified as play mats, activity gyms, or mobiles belong in their respective categories, such as Play Mats & Gyms or Baby Mobiles. Additionally, general baby entertainment centers or walkers belong in the Baby Walkers & Entertainers category.

How to Use in Your Feed

You can populate the google_product_category attribute using either the ID 539 or the full path: Baby & Toddler > Baby Toys & Activity Equipment > Play Yards. While optional, providing this value manually ensures higher accuracy than automated assignments, which helps Google accurately categorize your feed items without requiring extra attributes like size or gender.
