Living Room Furniture Sets (ID 6348)
The Living Room Furniture Sets category, identified by the numeric ID 6348, is part of the Furniture taxonomy under Furniture Sets. This category is specifically designed for groupings of furniture intended for use in a living room environment.
Products that belong in this category
This category is intended for matching furniture pieces sold together as a unified set. Based on examples from the US market, appropriate items include:
- Coordinated sofa and loveseat combinations
- Reclining sofa and loveseat duos
- Sleeper sectionals that include a matching chaise
- Comprehensive sets featuring a sofa, chair, and ottoman
- Power or manual reclining living room suites
These products are typically marketed as a set rather than individual pieces to ensure aesthetic and functional consistency in a living room setting.
Products that belong elsewhere
Items intended for other rooms do not belong here. Specifically, ensure that furniture sets for sleeping quarters are directed to Bedroom Furniture Sets, while items designed for eating areas should be categorized under Kitchen & Dining Furniture Sets. If your set consists of vanity furniture or specialized fixtures for hygiene, please use the Bathroom Furniture Sets category instead. Since this is the most specific level in the taxonomy, no further subcategories are available to refine these selections.
Implementing the category in your feed
You can populate the google_product_category attribute using either the numeric ID 6348 or the full path: Furniture > Furniture Sets > Living Room Furniture Sets. Including this attribute helps avoid incorrect automatic categorization by Google, as this is an optional but highly recommended field for better feed performance.
