Understanding Category 6535: Snow Globes
The Snow Globes category, identified by Google ID 6535, is a specific leaf node within the Home & Garden hierarchy. It falls under the Decor parent category and is dedicated to decorative water globes and similar keepsake items.
This category is intended for items featuring a transparent sphere containing a miniature scene, often filled with liquid and suspended particles to mimic snowfall. Examples found in the US market include seasonal items like Santa or reindeer globes, musical water globes, animal-themed designs such as dogs or cats, and hobby-focused pieces like sailboats or hobbyist hobby kits. Custom or make-your-own water globe kits also belong in this classification.
Items that do not belong here should be sorted into the appropriate neighbouring categories. For instance, music-playing items that are not globes should be categorized as Music Boxes. Decorative items that function as lighting should be placed under Flameless Candles. Figurines without water globes belong in the Figurines category, while general table centerpieces like decorative bowls or trays should be categorized accordingly. Seasonal decor that does not fit the water globe description should be placed in Seasonal & Holiday Decorations.
There are no subcategories available for this classification; this is the most specific level of the Google product taxonomy.
To categorize your items, use the numeric ID 6535 or the full path: Home & Garden > Decor > Snow Globes. While the attribute is optional, providing the ID ensures Google applies the correct policies and attributes to your feed, as automatic assignment can often be too general or inaccurate for niche decor items.
