World Globes Category Overview
The World Globes category, identified by the numeric ID 3262, falls under the path Home & Garden > Decor > World Globes. This specific taxonomy entry is intended for mapping spherical representations of the Earth or celestial bodies used for educational, decorative, or reference purposes.
What Belongs in This Category
This category is designated for various globe types found in the US market. Examples include:
- Desktop and tabletop globes used for home or office decor.
- Illuminated floor globes that feature internal lighting for enhanced visibility.
- Interactive educational globes designed for children to learn geography.
- Specialty globes, such as antique-style models with ornate bases or inflatable giant globes.
- Puzzle-based globes that require assembly to form a spherical map.
What Does Not Belong Here
Do not map items that fall into neighbouring categories within the Decor branch. For instance, Snow Globes belong in the Snow Globes category, while standard artistic decorations should be categorized under Artwork. Clocks, even those shaped like globes, belong in the Clocks category. If you are selling decorative spheres that are not geographic maps, check the Decorative Bowls or Decorative Ornaments categories instead. Ensure that product_type is used for your internal store organization, as it does not replace the mandatory google_product_category requirement.
How to Use This in Your Feed
You can populate the google_product_category attribute with either the ID 3262 or the full path: Home & Garden > Decor > World Globes. While the attribute is technically optional, providing the ID ensures Google applies the most accurate policies to your listings.
