Erotic DVDs & Videos Category Overview
The Erotic DVDs & Videos category, identified by the ID 776, is a specific classification within the Mature product taxonomy used for physical and digital adult film content. This category is located at the third level of the tree, falling under the broader Erotic parent category.
This category is intended for adult films distributed via DVD or digital video formats. Products included here consist of feature-length adult movies or short-form adult video productions intended for home entertainment viewing. Note that while there is no specific data for products in the US market, this category is strictly for video-based erotic content.
Products that do not belong in this category should be directed to the following neighboring categories:
- Erotic Clothing for apparel-based items.
- Sex Toys for devices or personal stimulation items.
- Erotic Books or Erotic Magazines for printed reading materials.
- Erotic Food & Edibles for consumable products.
- Erotic Games for board games or card-based adult activities.
- Pole Dancing Kits for fitness and equipment-related products.
Since this category is at the most specific level, there are no subcategories to select. Ensure you assign your products accurately to avoid categorization errors.
In your feed, use the attribute google_product_category with the value 776 or Mature > Erotic > Erotic DVDs & Videos. While this attribute is optional, explicit categorization prevents Google from misidentifying your items. Remember that product_type remains a separate, free-form field for your internal organization and does not replace the formal category requirement.
