Is it mandatory to include the google_product_category attribute?

No, it is optional. If you omit it, Google will attempt to categorize the item automatically, though manual mapping is safer to ensure accuracy.

Can I use the product_type attribute instead of the google_product_category?

No, these are distinct attributes. The product_type is for your own classification, while the google_product_category must strictly follow the Google taxonomy.

Should I map a yoga wheel to the Ab Wheels & Rollers category?

No. Yoga wheels are typically categorized under Yoga & Pilates because they are designed for stretching and pose support rather than abdominal strength training.

How to Use This in Your Feed
